Astrologer Ajay Tailang says that according to the planetary calendar, the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami is being celebrated on August 19. The month of Bhadraprad will start after Sawan. The main festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami is in the month of Bhadra. It is believed that Shri Krishna was born in Rohini Nakshatra on the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada. According to this belief, every year Krishna Janmotsav is celebrated on the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhado. This year Janmashtami will be celebrated on 19th August. This time a special coincidence is being made on Janmashtami.

Jyotishacharya Kameshwar Chaturvedi, director of Deepak Jyotish Bhagwat Sansthan, told that in Dwapar Yuga, on the Krishna Paksha Ashtami date of Bhadrapada month in Mathura Puri, at 12:00 midnight in Nishith Bela, the unborn Shri Krishna was born in the high zodiac moon in Taurus ascendant. Many beautiful yogas are being found this time on Janmashtami. According to the Smarta sect, on 18th August in Nishith Vyapini Ashtami Tithi and Vaishnav Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi will celebrate Surya Uday Vyapini Janmashtami on 19th August including Shridwarkadhish Temple. Ashtami Tithi is falling on 18th August at 21:21 pm which will remain till 22:59 pm on 19th August. Rohini Nakshatra will remain from 1:52 am on 20 August to 4:39 pm on 21 August.

Jyotishacharya Alok Gupta says that Ashtami Tithi will start at 9.21 pm on 18th August and will end at 11 pm on 19th August. However, this time Rohini Nakshatra is not available on both the days, whereas Shri Krishna was born in Rohini Nakshatra, the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. This time Rohini Nakshatra will be on August 20. Lord Shri Krishna is the adoration of Vaishnavites, so Janmashtami will be celebrated in Suryodaya Vyapini Ashtami Tithi i.e. on 19th August.

Crowd gathering at Shri Krishna's birthplace-

Even before Shri Krishna Janmashtami, crowds of people are being seen at Shri Krishna's birthplace. A large number of devotees from different states are reaching for darshan. Throughout the day, there is a queue of visitors at the main gate of the temple. Special Officer of the temple Vijay Bahadur Singh said that even before Raksha Bandhan, this time the crowd of devotees started reaching Shri Krishna's birthplace. A large number of devotees are coming these days.

Regular Prasad distribution at Shri Krishna birthplace-

These days regular distribution of Prasadis to the devotees is going on at the birthplace of Shri Krishna. Thousands of people are getting Prasad. There is a queue of devotees for this.
